The Little Miami River
A national and local treasure

From being a severely polluted river in 1967, the Little Miami is now in the top 10% of healthy river ecosystems in Ohio. Its clean waters are home to 74 species of rare and sport fish, more than a dozen species of freshwater mussels, and 255 species of birds, including the Bald Eagle and Great Blue Heron.
