LMC Welcomes Ginger Clark as its new Executive Director. June 29th

The Little Miami Conservancy is pleased to announce the appointment of Ginger Clark as its new Executive Director. As LMC enters its next chapter, Ms. Clark will lead the organization in its ongoing mission to protect, conserve, and enhance the natural, scenic, and recreational resources of the Little Miami State and National Scenic River and its riparian corridor.
Ms. Clark is an experienced conservationist with over a decade of experience leading regional outdoor recreation, conservation, community engagement and public advocacy initiatives. Ginger will be an integral part of LMC’s mission of restoring and protecting the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. Ginger was most recently with the Miami Conservancy District as Manager of the Great Miami Riverway. Her tenure there, working with a coalition of 20+ cities, counties, park districts and conservation and planning agencies to promote river stewardships along the 99-mile Great Miami River National Water Trail, prepare her well for this role. Ginger brings deep experience in nonprofit development, having spearheaded the establishment of the Foundation for Centerville-Washington Parks. She has also built a robust base of grants, corporate sponsorships, and philanthropic support to advance regional conservation efforts in previous roles.

“Rivers don’t recognize boundaries, and neither does the work of protecting them. The Little Miami is a river with an extraordinary legacy of conservation already in place. I’m deeply honored to be joining the Little Miami Conservancy at this moment in its story, said Ginger. “For 59 years, this organization has been a force for this river and I feel that responsibility, and that gift, very personally. I’m especially grateful for the chance to work alongside the LMC Board, whose dedication has shaped so much of what makes the Little Miami exceptional today. I’m eager to learn from them, build on what they’ve protected, and help carry this legacy forward, together.”
About Ginger Clark
Ginger Clark is a certified Park and Recreation professional with over a decade of experience leading regional outdoor recreation, conservation, community engagement, and public advocacy initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Tourism from Colorado State University. Her professional certifications include: Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP), National Recreation and Park Association, and Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy 2025 Cohort, Ohio Travel Association. She is recognized as a leader in her community and professional circles, having contributed to a wide array of committee and board assignments in the greater Dayton area.
